Crystal has been in Atlanta for years and has a master’s in psychology. When she was first approached about the program she initially turned it down because of her pride, and as a social worker she figured she could find her own resources. After speaking to her mentor, who told her to put her pride to the side, she came around to accepting the program.

Crystal says she’s grateful that she did because she really needed the money. She lost her job and a guaranteed income has allowed her to grow her coaching business while also adding to her savings.

“I couldn’t sleep at night because I was worried about how I was going to pay student loans, personal loans, and my car payment. These payments have allowed me to pay for these things.”
